It was okay. Not as good as the Dune stuff. But I wanted to check out some of his other stuff.

I'm in the middle of reading an older edition of  it now. I've read quite a few of Herbert's older stories and I agree with some of the critics who say that this is probably his best work next to "Dune". It'd be interesting to see this complex story done on film...(actually, it'd probably be butchered like the original Dune film was)

Nice idea, but damn, this was terrible.  I read the whole thing, but it made me question if Frank Herbert had written anything other than Dune that was actually good.

An enjoyable and thoughtful book on what the next step of humanity will be. I do think the technological advances are a bit overly optimistic.
