Whilst Le Guin's tale may be slightly dated it has lost none of it's relevance. The 'Yumens' have arrived to despoil a verdant planet populated by the sentient and peaceful Athsheans. Degraded and enslaved, the Athsheans finally can bear no more. One native of the forest learns a new dream of violence and retribution. A wave of rage that sweeps across the planet.
