Almost as good as "Under the Tuscan Sun", this book continues with Frances and Ed's travels through Italy.

Really makes me want to go to Italy--as if I needed help with that want.

LOVE this book! When I need to escape the fast paced craziness of this world, I pick up "Bella Tuscany." In moments I can feel the heat of the Tuscan sun, taste the freshly harvested olives and the scent of lavender fills me like I'm there...... Thank you Frances Mayes for your passionately beautiful writing!

I love Frances Mayes' enthusiasm for all things Tuscan, perhaps it is because the Italian countryside always looks so warm and inviting that it draws you in? She is able to bring the people and places to life in this memoir, I enjoyed it a bit more than Under the Tuscan Sun.

A great book. Frances Mayes makes you want to move to Tuscany, eat Italian food, and look at paintings , frescoes, and churches all day long. More great recipes. Isn't pasta a food group of its own?

This is one of those books you can just open and start reading anywhere and find something thoughtful and interesting. Frances Mayes loves to cook and eat, and in addition to her stories about Italy and home renovations, she includes recipes. How fun is that?
