Not really into war stories, but Tim Obrien's episodic novel is both horrifying and enchanting. I think I will use it for my class.

This book is about Tim O'Brien's experiences during the Vietnam War. This book allows for O'Brien to share his experiences and peppers it with his thoughts as a writer. I read it back in college and fell in love with the book.
