His books are a JOY to read, no small feat in a world replete with grim, doom and gloom not forgetting constant fretting and angst. Climb out of your glum with him. Trust you will feel a renewed appreciation for this savage but beautiful little planet we call home.

A blast to read. I tiptoed at Yellowstone and am in awe of lichen.
