A book about an important piece of history that has been forgotten or swept under the rug. It is unfortunate that there are several glaring errors in basic facts (e.g. the statement that all German tanks were called Panthers) which makes me wonder how much of the individual stories the authors got right. A good read about some truly American Heroes. Unfortunately the book is marred by some historical mistakes that take away from the overall picture being painted. The authors shouldn't be hammered too hard for them I suppose. I've found the same sort of mistakes reading Stephen Ambrose.   hide
