Such a fun book! As good as the movie is and as vile as Meryl Streep played her in the movie, the boss in this book is sheer evil. A fun summer read for sure.

I absolultely loved the movie but was disappointed when I read the book. I found the tone of the character in the book to whiney and I felt it lacked the tongue-in-cheek humor that I loved in the movie so much. I felt the movie depiction of the story was a much better presentation than the book and that is hardly ever the case!

Witty, real and very funny. Also, irritating in some parts, but only because Miranda Priestly is a total... you know. But if you've ever hated your job (which, let's face it) everyone has once in their lives, then you'll love this book. Makes you feel a lot better while entertaining you. But be advised, along with the wit and honesty, there's some (meaning a lot) of language. ...more

Fun read. I like that the main character tells off her boss in the end of the book, unlike the movie.

went a lil overborad on this, but have read the book at least 6x, own the movie and the audiobook. guess i must like it.
