The Devil Wears Prada

Very different from the movie-just FYI

I read this long before the movie came out and I have to say, this one is an exception to the rule. I loved the movie, but not so much the book. It became tedious and whiny. I was very pleasantly surprised by how the plot alterations enhanced the story on the big screen.

Such a fun book! As good as the movie is and as vile as Meryl Streep played her in the movie, the boss in this book is sheer evil. A fun summer read for sure.

Embora ame o filme, o livro é um dos piores que já li.

I absolultely loved the movie but was disappointed when I read the book. I found the tone of the character in the book to whiney and I felt it lacked the tongue-in-cheek humor that I loved in the movie so much. I felt the movie depiction of the story was a much better presentation than the book and that is hardly ever the case!

fun and good to read if you need a break from work. nothing mindblowing but nice and relaxing:)

Fun read. I like that the main character tells off her boss in the end of the book, unlike the movie.
