Felt like it took forever to get through, but it was a very interesting free pass into Cuba. Very descriptive and eye-opening.

This is an excellent read. Have you ever been to Cuba? This book was written in the 60's but is relavant today as Cuba hasn't changed much since then. Learn about everyday life from the perspective of wife and mother who also happens to be married to a diplomat stationed in Cuba for three years.

Mixed feelings. I didn't like the woman narrating very much, but of course it's interesting to read about the country.

Great book for anyone who has spent time in Latin America. There's humor and, for the insightful reader, a glimpse into the political, cultural and social structures of Cuban society.

Very interesting to get a first hand insight into the Cuban way of life and the differances faced between the Cuban's and the ex-pats.

The "what do you mean there's no toilet paper" attidue. What really was...more
