one of my favorite books...italy, travel, restoring an old tuscan home, and cooking...what could be better? (the book was so much better than the movie. the movie barely even followed the story of the book.)
Excellent book, drags in places but well written none the less. If you aren't interested in food, renovation or Italy this may not be for you. Has very little to do with the movie.
This edition has a post script written after the movie and is very interesting.
