Troost took me right back into the paradoxical world of China - a world super-power decimating the health of its' people. It also reminded me of the hilarious, and pointless public signage in that country. A must read!

Another hilarious compilation by a well-seasoned traveler, this time to the Far East where he attempts to understand China. The crazy part is it's true, just told through the eyes of a non-native. Troost's no-frills delivery of his experiences in an ever-changing country makes this a fun read for anyone.

Not always politically correct, and Troost doesn't shy away from offering his opinions on things, but Lost on Planet China is very insightful and funny as hell! I would recommend this book to just about anybody.
