I loved this book! This is the first book I have read by this author and since then I have read more. This is a great love story that has many twists and turns.
Humbling story...appreciating living right until God takes you into his arms.
This book really makes you think about what really matters in life especially at the end of life...beautiful story with humor despite the sad premise of the story.
It's a good read....not great but good. Fun to read about the Charleston and St. Mary area. A friend loaned me the book. I would recommend to my book club--it's a fairly quick read but sometimes along the way it gets bogged down in too many details impertinent to the story line.
Not my favorite Charles Martin book. When Crickets Cry is still my fave. I hope with a new publisher this isn't a sign of a new direction. Definitely a good read though. You still need to keep the kleenex handy. I just love the way this author builds his characters and slowly reveals different aspects of them.
