One of the funniest books I've read in a long time. If you like Mark Twain style story telling, the Flashman series ( by George MacDonald Fraser), and WWI you'll love this book.

The whole series of the Bandy Papers is worth reading but the first book (Three Cheers for Me) is the best of the bunch. Likely the funniest book you'll ever read and it's Canadian too.
