This book started off good, but I quickly lost interest. It started to be more political than cultural-which got boring. I never finished it.

Takes the reader to a world of maharanis, rajs and court intrigue. Amazingly vivid, a great read.

Quite fascinating, beautifully depicted. I dunno wh yit didn't receive more attention, from anyone... I didn't find the protagonist unconvincing and once u've decided on that, the book is a pretty good read. A tad inspiring,too.
