I like how this book integrates technology into folklore. These faeries are beings of the modern age, rather than beings born with natural talents of magic and flight. This brings the magic in more subtly and closer to a realistic version of the old tales. I also enjoyed how simplistic the book was, without being too distant and lacking in details. You get a clear picture of what's happening and the whole story is very interesting without being drawn-out and long-winded.
The reading level is a bit lower all-in-all, but the story is adorable and worrisome all the same time. Sometimes you're just not sure who to root for. I also have to say I'm a bit tickled at how stories like these tend to bring out my inner child just the littlest bit. I'll be reading the rest of the series, I'm intrigued!
