Evocative, wonderful imagry in this true story of life during the South Pole winter. Excellent, interesting book about life in the South Pole winter. Evocative with wonderful imagry. This is a top ten book for me.

Inspiring true story.

As other books on by shelf, this is not a page turner either, however, it was a very interesting read. I enjoyed reading about adapting to the south pole as well as emotionally adapting to a cancer diagnoses.

Fantastic and very different story of survival!

One of the best books i have ever read. You should read it.

An excellent book about one woman's fight for survival survival, and a testimony to the greatnesss of the human spirit and will to live.
