Tolkien was extremely genius. He's not only written this epic high fantasy novel, but also developed a new language (Sindarin). I am also amazed by the characters he created.Hobbit, elven, dwarf...not to mention Gollum and many more. It needs to go beyond imagination to do this kind of masterpiece. Continuing to the second trilogy of The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers

I've been reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy at least once a year for seventeen years. I'm always finding some new little detail that makes the story even richer. One of the best books of the 20th century.

Read this a while ago...it was pretty good. I'm not much for fantasy, but it was a good read.

This is the perfect book to read after reading the Hobbit...There are several pages were the flow of the events is very slow, it's after leaving the shire, but in the Pracing Pony where Strider (Aragorn) steps in, the book changes and it's hard to stop reading it. I love Tolkien!!!
