Very compelling, moving and tragic human story. It's a simple story, but a good, well-written one. A careful balance of depressing and enlightening, and a steadily moving plot that's interesting enough to keep your attention all the way through :)
I loved this play. Although dark, it riddled with lessons from life. It's main lesson focused on "sales talk" personalities and how transparent they really are to others. As an unpressionable high school student at that time, it clarified the need to lead a truthful and ethical life.
The simplicity of the storyline unearths true to life layers of humanity, both intense, dull and real. The characters mirror us all, so its hard to look at sometimes but they beautiful nonetheless.
i like the bakground and the family and the climax where i think the guys name is willy is affected by his father cheating on his mom.....but i was force dto read this in high school i dont like it
Miller turns what sounds like a nothing story into a masterpiece. You think nothing gof it till you’ve read it, then you realise just how perceptive Arthur miller is, and how he writes life.
