If you approach this play in the right spirit, you will definitely learn something novel. There are a lot of truths about the nature of existence contained here that, if you are willing to sift through a lot of absurdity and apparent contradiction, are highly rewarding. Don't take anything too seriously, but make sure you are reading it at all levels so you don't miss something significant.

A modern classic as great a work of art as any of Shakespeare, Molière or Ibsen. Beautifully cyclical and at varying times both tragic and hysterical, GODOT remains one of the best plays ever written for the stage.

It' funny, but it's really really weird. Don't expect to get it. You probably won't.
