Paul Broks is a little self indulgent with his writing style, but the book manages to be quite interesting nonetheless.

Very, very, interesting and well written book. Will have you asking questions and reflecting on yourself...your mind...your brain...the relationship or lack of relationship within it all.

If you are interested in neuropsychology at all, and even if you aren't, read this book. It is fascinating.

A book which reads like fiction. Brok looks at his own perspective on the bleakness of neuropsychology through case studies and surreal situations. A very thought provoking and poetic read.

After Lopez's "Crossing Open Ground" this is a close second in terms of an outstanding collection of stories. It made me amazed at what we are able to do as human beings.
