more The master of judicious dialogue. This is the second play I have read of Harold Pinter who had recently passed away, and I understood finally why Harold Pinter was so great. I love the sexuality in his plays, and strangely feministic way a woman is portrayed despite the fact that she is always being degraded in some way. That is how I see his female character anyways - erect, hard and powerful, playing with the men. The homecoming starts off ordinarily as many Harold Pinter's plays often do, but then degenerates into something sinister and so much more interesting. I read Ruth throughout the whole play out aloud, and I wished I could play her. I wish I could watch this play on stage.
