As this book makes clear, anyone who thinks Bob Marley's life somehow didn't live up to his music would be wrong.

There are a lot of great musicians out there, and I'm sure a lot more to come in the future. But I read 'Catch a Fire' because I remember a very specific event from my childhood. Running out to my mom who was hanging laundry out to dry and telling her Bo Marley was dead, and my mom, who would later describe what it was to live through our day of independence registering no surprise at all. A beautiful book about Bob Marley life and the world in which he lived. After reading this I want to even read more about the world of Jamacia and its supersitions.
