What Was Lost: A Novel

Hmmmm, I liked how it flipped back and forth to the past. I felt like it never really wrapped up the past point of view. Kinda came together a little too quick and easy. I enjoyed it but felt let down by the ending.

This novel was very unpredictable. It starts like a children's book, but moves into dark, sad characters who have pointless lives. It is cleverly set in a megamall in England. It felt like there would be no resolution to the story line, but then at the end with a few twist turns and surprises it came to a satisfactory conclusion.

Felt this lost it's way after the time jump to the present day.

I loved this book. Sure it was a mystery of sorts but the was 3 stories are woven in here is intriguing and all are interesting. Really great book!
