An incomplete novel, in which the symbolism presents a more deeper, disturbing hidden meaning. Various interpretations exist. I myself feel that Joseph K. ruled himself as guilty, and succumb to his own consciousness of it.

A very difficult book to read but it's one of those rare books that the harder it gets to read the more you want to read it. It exudes dread, suspense and humour in sufficient quantity to keep you reading. Eventually sentence is pronounced and executed. hide
