What a fascinating look at an area of history I hadn't really considered. I learned a lot from Leslie's book.

Amazing book, very informative. I loved it and I would totally read it again. I learned so much about parts of history I had no idea about. I would reccomend it to anyone.

The history part of the book was very interesting; unfortunately there was a lot of the author's opinion of the history in the book and also s/he put a 'manifesto' in towards the end of the book.  Not what I was looking for in a book about trans history.

Still a good read though
