An interesting time traveling book.

This is a great book. It had me from the beginning and is a very quick read. Definitely makes me appreciate living in the 21st century.

Octavia Butler is part author, part social commentator, and part historian her books are social commentary in the guise of fiction. Her novels are very thought provoking and its always interesting to superimpose the blueprint of the novel to the actual events and compare and contrast.

This is a thought-provoking book with an excellent story.
