I was disappointed that this book was not even remotely similar to Night. With those expectations I didn't love Dawn and thus found it hard to follow.

A story of what could have been, the authur was possibly a visa away from entering into a world just like he portrayed. Great writer.

This is a phenominal book. A very quick read about a young boy who is asked to execute an enemy soldier. This is a great book to relate to leadership, specifically looking at how employees may feel pressured to perform certain tasks as well as the personal conflict they may experience.

Elie Wiesel writes powerfully and vividly. I first read Dawn as part of the Night Trilogy. Reading it in the context of just having read "Night" really put it in perspective. Even if you have purchased them as separate volumes I recommend reading Night first.
