An extremely abstract and innovative play, that is poetic and sinisterly dark. Tennessee Williams' "Camino Real" is too lofty and abstract for its own good and will likely confuse readers and audiences, despite the interesting plotline.
Funny, messy, and fantastic. This is almost Williams' "Peer Gynt", and it's really a lovely emotional landscape, but don't go in expecting anything like any other play by him you may have read.
