Temple of the Winds (Sword of Truth (Paperback))

After reading this book, I ask myself this: Was it fantasy, or a soap opera? Good question. Honestly, the story was ridiculous. Very disappointing, when compared to its excellent predecessors. Nathan's character saved the day, fortunately, and Goodkind's style is still impressive. Otherwise, I don't believe I would have reached the end of the book.

It was a good read and changed the story line a lot

Another amazing Terry Goodkind book. Great plot twists and kept me on the edge of my seat just like the other books in this series. Must read!!

This is the last book I will read in the series. I don't see how so much rape and torture is essential to the storyline.

A three hundred page story in eight hundred pages. Almost ten percent as good as your average James Barclay novel. Needs more sex. And violence. Did I mention it is five hundred pages too long? Also, could the main characters be more sickeningly juvenile? Enough of the teenage angst, dammit.

I wish each book didn't wrap itself up so neatly by the end. I hope I have a wedding like that, but much much smaller.

The plot keeps you interested, but the book would be much better without the gratuitous violence, especially towards women.
