Shadow of the Hegemon (Ender Wiggins Saga)

This book was enjoyable, but the logical leaps the characters have to make on a regular basis to keep the story moving becomes tiring and slightly implausible. Although the kids are 'geniuses,' it comes off as lazy storytelling. That being said, the novel is engaging and brings up some interesting ideas.

Take the characters from Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow and put them in a plot involving world domination--and it works!

Different than what I expected, but very interesting and excellent structure to the story. I really enjoy the political spin on science fiction and how itincorporates into modern politics as well as futuristic politics. Worth reading, but only if you have read Ender's Shadow, or you will be beyond lost.

The ending is a bit anti-climatic for me. But still, a good read; Card still didn't fail to keep you turning those pages in a large portion of the book. Now, the Earth is the Children's playground.

A worthy sequel to "Ender's Shadow," just not stellar.

If you're a fan of the Ender series, and especially the characters Bean and Petra, this is a great read. Personally I loved Bean more than almost anyone so I enjoyed it immensely. When Card brought the crew back to earth, the power struggle was amazing!!

This book was an ok read. It was not nearly as good as the first book in this set.
