Crossroads of Twilight: Book Ten of 'The Wheel of Time'

Loved the whole series. For a long time every time a new one came out, I went back and started at book 1 again and read all the way up to the newest release. Excellent series....long but excellent.

This series is one of my favorites! A truly epic vision!

The slowest, most plodding book in the series.

By far the weakest of the series.

The whole book basically consisted of political maneuvering. I understand giving characters detailed back story's and sufficient depth allows for character development, but this was going a bit to far. What a steaming pile. I've been a huge fan of the series since Jr. High. I even defended him after a lot of my friends started to dismiss him after the 5th or 6th book (or even 4th). I bought the book as soon as it came out, and when I finished it I was so angry that I threw it across the room. If you ever get into the series, good, but I suggest you skip this one and just read a synopsis.   hide

My brother got me started on the Wheel of Time Series in my early twenties. The author has since passed away leaving behind a legacy of works comparable to that of Tolkien and Lewis. There was a whole world inside his imagination. The fact that he could so clearly put it down on paper is absolutely amazing.
