Not impressive. Justice O'Connor does not seem to understand the place of the Supreme Court in our nation. A justice must interpret the law from the U.S. Constitution. Justice O'Connor sees nothing wrong with looking to other country's laws to help find the position she wants our laws to mean. This is grossly irresponsible. I love this book. I like to learn about the inner workings of the Supreme Court and I think Sandra Day O'Connor explains things really well so a person who isn't invloved with law can understand it easily.

She dedicated it to her law clerks, and it really is too much for someone like me who is not in law. But, I enjoyed a few chapters in the middle about her perspective of women in our society. I find it fascinating that she went to school, got a job below her abilities as a law clerk, raised her young children, then returned to law and became a Supreme Court Justice. I would've liked to...more
