An endearing story of 3 Iranian sisters running a business together in Ireland. The discussion of Iranian culture and cooking is fascinating. The plot itself is a bit "chick lit-ish" but all in all the book is worth a read.
What a sweet story. I have not read the first "Pomegranate Soup", however had no trouble following the story line. I loved the character the food bought to this story. When I finished I felt like I'd been on a little holiday.
Picking up from where Pomegranite Soup left off, Marsha Mehran continues her beautiful tale of those three Iranian sisters and their life in small-town Ireland. I couln't put this book down - Delicious :-)
Rather charming story set in Ireland about three sisters from Persia. It's a little resonant of Chocolat and quite a slow read with little tension, but pleasant enough.
