Robert applies the theory of Emile Durkheim on suicide and illustrates the root causes of the suicide terrorism. It is a good reference for whom are rudimentary of politics and international relations.

Gets to be a little repetitive, probably because the author is anticipating copies of chapters to be made for students, yet it is a very detailed analysis of suicide attacks all throughout the world's history.

Good intro to various motivations for suicide campaigns. Contained several nuggets of information that though they should be common knowledge for our policy makers, probably aren't. Overall, the book didn't seem very connected however, and I felt it was overly repetitive as a result.
