I enjoyed reading the stories in this book. I wasn't so happy about some of the snide side comments that Brokaw would make or imply every once in a while. I have a hard time accepting that a generation can be categorized as "good" or "bad," but there are clearly extraordinary members that arose from the WW II generation.

I think it is a good book to read. It's about WWII but it's based on the soldiers point of view which makes it more interesting.
