more This was a really interesting read - while the writing wasn't particularly sophisticated, the people (and trees) the author writes about portray an amazing history of modern canopy exploration (particularly in the Pacific Northwest and Australia). There is a fair amount of biology and ecology presented that most people can easily understand, and its presentation is illustrative of the human spirit of exploration and passion for adventure. Makes me want to go climb a redwood tree instead of those fake indoor rock climbing walls... :oP
