The Oath

You will not be able to stop turning the pages till you finish the book. Believe me, this is the best and scariest book Peretti has written so far. His description of sin will really scare the whatever-it-is out of you, I can promise. And the way he describe Jesus defeating sin by His death is really impressive. A must for all Christians!

I'm disapointed because I can't get into this book the same as the others. I just read Monster which I found quite weird with the Big Foot scheme. I believe because I didn't enjoy that I am being turned off to this book. I'm hopeing to get into this one because I like the lesson behind it where as Monster wasn't that great. I should have read this one first.

Oooh! The Oath is one of my favorite Peretti books. A small town haunted by a deadly secret. People mysteriously winding up dead--reportedly by a bear attack--after a strange mark appears of their chest above their heart. Very good. I'd like to see a movie done for this.

I absolutely love this book. I've read many times, so the scaryness isn't there as much, but the message will always be there and personally, i never get tired of reading. You learn something new, or learn the same things again, but who said you had to learn something once?
