A fantastic and accessible overview of the effect humans are having on the "great aerial ocean". Flannery covers a wide swathe of climate change impacts, science, policy, and supports it all with research and personal stories of his travels and studies.

This is a terrific book, although with most of the books in this field it tends to concentrate too much on natural systems and not enough on human systems. Flannery brings the experience and insights of a top scientist but presents his information clearly, colorfully and with the skill of a journalist. The result is a book with depth that is very easy to read.
