Magic's Pawn

one of my first true fantasy novels, and the one that really got me stuck on the genre. i didn't even know it was the first of a trilogy when i first read it! i've probably read it -- and the other 2 in the trilogy -- at least a dozen times since, and i ALWAYS cry.

The first Mercedes Lackey book I ever read. When I had surgery last year I took this one to the hospital with me. Love Vanyel.

Every time I read this book I cry. I wish it had been around when I was in high school, so I would have realized I was not alone.

This whole series is amazing but this particularly trilogy is one of the best!
