few weeks ago
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It kind of extends the premise of Philip K.Dick's "Do Andorids Dream of Electric Sheep?" (Bladerunner), and takes it much deeper. Yes, it's sci-fi but literature, too.

I was a loyal member of the Jedi and helped on several peace-keeping missions. While stranded on Tatooine, I found a young boy who was strong in the Force. Because he showed great potential, I decided he needed training. The Jedi Council refused my request to train him, and I never got the chance. Shortly before my death, I made sure my Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, would train the boy.
