Book Club #21. Too long. (The only book club book I haven't finished.) But amazing. I'll never order a restaurant 'special' again without wondering if it's a good idea. And it casts a whole new light on Mario Batali. Cooking your own food is good.

An interesting read which provides insight into the realities of working in a restaurant and Italian cooking. Rather drawn-out at certain parts and could have had more flow in writing style.

Good read

very articulate about the behind the scenes of a serious restaurant, as well as a lot of other places. Fascinating.
