Really good you must read this if you live in the Portland area. You will learn so much from this that you never knew existed and you will also see stuff that you have done. I loved it. I know alot of my friends and family can really relate to this book and if not then they had to be living under a rock. If not it aleast gives you an idea of some really cool places to see and events to attend.

The basic idea is you’re going along on a walking tour of Portland, Oregon with one of the local residents (Palahniuk), and he’s telling you all the weird, funny and gruesome stories of Portland’s undocumented past. Full review: http://www.amazon.com/review/R144NQ4CNME7YT/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm

History has never been my strongest subject, so it took me awhile to get into this book, but in the end I found it to be a fun read. Chuck lived in Portland for much of his early life and this book serves as a memoir of that era in addition to a travel guide, of sorts, for Portland and all of it's eccentricities.

There's some interesting stuff in this, but I hated the writing style.
