the best history of the McCarthy era you will ever find. How that era has been so turned on it's head and the way it has been used in the media and classrooms to mean just the opposite of what happened was eye-opening. Ann's research that she puts in her books is exhaustive.

I'm sure this is probably the only way she could achieve her goal, which is to defend the likes of Joe McCarthy. Given Ann Coulter's ability to twist, obfuscate, and ignore facts, she was probably a hell of a lawyer. She has a real gift for hurling juvenile insults at liberals. But she has no clue about McCarthyism or history. This was an unmitigated piece of garbage. I gave her a chance. And she lived down to every expectation.

Fascinating history lesson. This is my favorate Ann Coulter book
