Fantastic book for the historian and the politcal junkie alike.  The begining is a little arduous, but after time it reads less like a memoire and more like a historial narrative, because Novak had such a front seat to history.

It's a good read, if you like politics and political history.  Novak covered most of the majors events of the past 50 years and it is interesting to get his insider's view.  Especially interesting is the change in political media as TV talk shows became more and more important.

Interesting inside look at some of the biggest news stories of the last 50 years - Novak is an ardent conservative - whats very telling though is how many of his sources are liberal Democrats
