A very insightful read into the current political climate in Washington. The bit about the Freak Show is insightful somewhat, but a bit too exaggerated I think. Alan Greenspan was right to speculate in his memoirs if the bipartisanship of postwar America was actually the exception, not the rule. The "Trade Secrets" approach also made for interesting reading. The book probably mythologises the political prowess of Rove and the Clintons way too much, but there is more than just a grain of truth there. Ultimately, an interesting read if one wants to understand the forces shaping contemporary American politics.   hide
