This was interesting, but I have to be honest and say I didn't read it cover to cover.

A very readable [although a tad repetitive] take by one journalist on the state of assisted reproductive technologies along with the myriad ethical and moral issues involved.

It's a little scary what people will do to have kids. This book raises some great questions about the politics, ethics, and logistics of assisted reproduction, and the author doesn't skimp on describe the emotions of everyone involved -- parents, partners, surrogates, and the eventual children themselves.
