I've always struggled with short stories; I much prefer to dig my teeth into a deep and ongoing story. But Eggers is a talented writer; the diversity of his stories keep you moving onto the next. I am finding inspiration for getting back to writing in his tales.
Some good, some not so good but that's not really the point, or not for me anyway, when it comes to Eggers. It is writing for writings sake, being playful and trying out ideas. I like that and wish I were half as innovative.
