Reads more like a textbook. The final chapter feels hurried, very "uh-oh, time to wrap this up." Conclusions weekly drawn. It does however cover a good deal of information.

I am not sure I buy Barone's premise that the British Revolution of 1688 was a precursor the American Revolution.It is an interesting time in British History and new territory for me. Barone did a decent job of making the book engaging but the title implies it will be brought to bear that this event was somehow related to the US revolution 88 years later.Decent book. hide
