A good book, and very interesting journey of a liberal democrat to a conservative republican. Also interesting how his journey led him back to his Jewish roots. You should read this book.

Erudite, entertaining, educational.  A valuable biography shedding luminous light on the baby boomers, Hollyweird, and the "greatest nation on God's green Earth."

A very good read; Medved keeps the reader's interest throughout his life story with some historic events, useful tidbits, and some humor. Not a very deep dive into conservative philosophy, so if you are looking for a serious study, perhaps leave this one on the shelf for later. It's more relaxed. I'd recommend for a read while travelling or coming down off a real brain-buster, or if you are just...more
