i normally don't read alot of graphic novels comics or what have you...but this one is like candy! so addicting....alas i only got through to the fourth book.....if you like these types of books and you like a new spin on old fairy tales then you might like this....

Politics and war inject action and drama into the best Fables story-arc so far.  Charming begins his dirty Mayoral Campaign as "Matrixesque" wooden soldiers invade Fabletown and test Pinocchio's loyalties.  Willingham is as ingenious as ever, drip-feeding enigmatic backstories whilst squeezing in sharp satire - suited mannequins are mistaken for a Republican...more
