If there's a project you're having trouble starting, something you keep dancing around and procrastinating, this is the book that will help you get past that inertia and get things rolling with enthusiasm. Not my favorite of Dr Dyers books, but he shows how one convinces oneself the types of excuses why one cannot do anything. It's really the state of mind, and we are made of entirely of thoughts. Change your thoughts, and your excuses will be gone. Good read otherwise.

Excellent book! Provides personal examples, quotes from the bible. Learned that saying "I'm tired" is an excuse. He reminds the reader to contantly be in the NOW by quieting the mind through meditation and yoga.

This book is a little weak. Your thinking is what is holding you back. Obviously you can do a lot for yourself by changing how your think, but this book goes a little too far. I suggest you read the Tao Te Ching and some of the source books quoted in this book. It a rehash of classic material that is already there.
